Here are some guidelines to help you get a "quick estimate"
on what size you need:

a small bedroom and will hold the furniture (excluding major
appliances) from a one-bedroom apartment.

contents of a two-bedroom apartment, or a small car, if the
unit has a garage door.

This size is about the size of
a standard one-car garage. It's big enough for furniture,
appliances, and personal items from a two-bedroom house or a
car or truck.
